Meet Marta Bulaich

Marta carries with her more than two decades of working in the trenches with venture capital firms, incubators and startups focused on information technology, insurtech, deeptech, and healthcare. She has collaborated with Fortune 500 companies and seed/early-stage venture funds, including Ridge Ventures, Cervin Ventures, Crane Venture Partners, Merian Ventures, and UpWest Labs.  

Previously, Marta was the VP of Marketing and Chief Yoga Officer at Canaan Partners. She was also a Network Associate at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, where she managed marketing and collaborated on business development initiatives with the DFJ Global Network comprised of 16 funds and 400 portfolio companies. She has held marketing and strategic business development positions at Capella Photonics, a telecommunications subsystems manufacturer (acquired by Alcatel-Lucent), and Senvid, creator of MioNet, a remote access and file-sharing service (acquired by Western Digital).  Marta started her career in venture capital working for Vanguard Ventures and MedTech Ventures, a medical technology incubator, providing seed-stage companies with funding and strategic planning, due diligence, operations, and advice.

Marta graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Delta Pi with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Scripps College with a major in Classics and minors in Chemistry and Latin American studies.  She also received a Certification in Information Management Systems at UCSC.
