Meet Jason Ayr

Fractional Controller

Going the Distance!

Jason Ayr serves as Fractional Controller at Seatrec, where he focuses on strengthening the company’s accounting, financial reporting, and internal control environment as the organization scales. His work spans financial reporting and modeling, treasury, accounting systems and processes, and supporting management with the financial information needed for operational and strategic decisions.

Jason has spent his career working with growing companies at the intersection of accounting and operations, with experience building and improving finance functions, implementing scalable processes, and helping leadership teams navigate periods of rapid growth and change.

Prior to his consulting work, Jason held finance and accounting leadership roles, including serving as Controller at Running Tide, a Maine-based ocean health and carbon sequestration company, and Tracksmith, a Boston-based running brand.

Outside of work, Jason is a competitive distance runner. He lives in Colorado with his wife and spends much of his free time reading, running, hiking, and exploring the mountains.
