In May 2022, Seatrec launched Project FISH (Fishing Insights to Scope Hurricanes), our mission to collaborate with the Gulf of Mexico fishing charters and anglers to better understand ocean processes influencing hurricane intensity. Our system is profiling every eight hours at a depth of 750 meters.
