Robin Willis is a multi-disciplinary electronics engineer with over 20 years of experience in a wide range of industries. Robin is the lead electrical engineer at Seatrec, where he is responsible for the design and implementation of embedded control and power conversion electronics for the company’s groundbreaking thermal energy harvesting systems. He writes the code for lab test platforms, takes the lead on customer support, and helps dream up bold new ways of generating power from the environment and solve broader engineering challenges.
Prior to Seatrec, Robin designed coffee maker controls at Renau Electronic Laboratories, Bluetooth headsets at AudioNoggin, missile simulators at EW Simulation Technology, fuel cell control systems at Voller Energy, supercar transmission controllers at Ricardo Consulting Engineers, and Satcom test systems at Thales Avionics.
Robin holds a Master’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK.
