Richard Lopez is the Head of Finance for Seatrec. He has over 30 years of experience in the fields of audit, tax, and business planning. During his career, he supervised and managed financial audits of companies from $10 million to in excess of $3 billion. These ventures led him into the fields of Accounting and Taxation, Financial Services, Management Consulting, Banking, Securities Manufacturing, and Non-Profits. He spent over eight years in the mortgage banking and real estate industries during which time he established an internal audit department assisted in the acquisition of a $500 million savings and loan and helped with the formation and public offering of several real estate investment trusts totaling in excess of $500 million. He began his career with the international public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand.

Richard has over 20 years of experience performing audit and consulting services to Federal and local governments agencies and is considered an expert in the areas of Federal Acquisition Regulations, (FAR) and Federal contract and grant compliance. Richard served as Vice Chairman on the National Advisory Council for the U.S. Small Business Administration and is actively involved with various organizations.

Richard received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California and has been a licensed certified public accountant in the State of California since 1981.
